The “ML Scientist” supports R&D of concepts and applications by using machine learning and develops data mining algorithms to analyze the data from applications in production. In this role, the employee reviews state of-the-art in machine learning and analyzes the competition and assesses the 3rd party ML applications that SBU decides to deploy on MS Azure cloud. This role also supports design and implementation of continuous learning and continuous monitoring on MS Azure ML platforms for different ML applications from different SBUs. Furthermore, this role supports generating innovations and intellectual properties in related medical machine learning applications.
Your role:
  • Develop ML algorithms and data mining methods based on machine learning or computer vision
  • Review state-of-the-art and analyze the competition on AI applications provided by competition
  • Generate innovations and intellectual properties
  • Defining or reviewing algorithms requirements, verification for cloud AI SaMD products · Implement continuous learning on MS Azure ML platform.
  • Establishing and reviewing Prometh+ documents for approving ML applications.
  • Review 3rd party ML applications and preparing them for deployment to MS Azure cloud
  • Develop the concept for continuous monitoring of technical and clinical performance of ML algorithms in the cloud (MS Azure) and on-premise medical devices.
  • Develop a concept for pre-specified continuous learning for the medical ML-algorithms in production
  • Guide the ML developers of different SBUs with designing the continuous learning and continuous monitor-ing for their applications.
  • Research and develop medical machine learning concepts.
Your profile:
  • PhD degree in machine learning, computer science, informatics, biomedical engi-neering, or a related engineering field.
  • 3 years of experience working as data scientist
  • Hands on experience with MS Azure ML service
  • Deep knowledge of machine learning and deep learning
  • Experience in using machine learning frameworks and tools (e.g TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Experience in dockerization and in orchestrators (e.g Kubernetes)
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure platform and its workspaces is a plus
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in using Python programming language
  • Being familiar with open-source computer vision and machine learning software and platforms
  • Experience with other programming languages such as C++ is a plus.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment such as medical software development is a plus
